Dana Ryan says:

Yes, register your car on their website…for an additional $30. This is after the purchase price of $139.99. 😠😠😠😠😠😠

Jesse Sanchez says:

This pos won't pair to Bluetooth device. Biggest pile of wasted money. If you by chance disconnected your battery before testing, you will get lots of error codes.
They will just say you need all this work, when they should say you need to run several miles to reset ecm

attitudewithoutacause says:

I have an intermittent battery light . Will it tell me if my alternator is bad? It has a brand new battery.

Ron says:

This is just a simple overpriced OBD2 scanner! You can get cheap OBD2 scanners from Amazon for as little as 20 bucks! Could easily save 100 bucks. Do your research.

oleg says:

or you can go to auto zone and they will tell you the code for free or go online and get a bluetooth adapter for $27 that will connect to your smartphone and give you the code look it up erase the code and give you live data carmd are not scanners they are scamers

0ddMonk3y says:

@liljunior805 Or craftsman. Snap-on is over priced.

0ddMonk3y says:

@MrJoeDrager Well, DUH!!! it's a scan tool. You see the engine light, plug it in, and it'll give you a code, and that code tells you what needs fixing. The only difference between carMD and your AutoZone one is the brand. And probably the price. Hell, if you don't want it, give it to me.

Martin says:

This isn't a review! It's a damned instruction manual… waste of time.

Jonathan Greenawalt says:

MrSlammedb2200 says:

if you want a scanner go buy an actron from advance, $150 and tells you more than this pos will, plus you can view freeze frame data…whats freeze frame data? oh thats right your not a fuckin tech, thats why it cost so much to repair your car.

Sparktite says:

@moneycrashers Thanks for the video it was quick and easy to find and answered my questions regarding this product. Keep up the good work.

Sparktite says:

I love how everyone fails to realize that this isnt magic and its not intended to fix your car. This is so you can check your car on a regular basis or if you have a warning light and are wondering how worried you should be. I have tons of friends with engine lights or what have you that are just malfunctioning and there really isnt much of a problem at all. I believe this product will save you time, and help you learn more about your car, so dont bash it just because you cant afford it.

DanielJaegerFilms says:

I can't wait until somebody plugs this into a Chevy Equinox with a P0300 and then takes it to a dealer. Awesome! My CarMD tells me that I need a fuel injector! I know exactly how much it's going to cost! Or instead of going to the shop saying they need a fuel injector replaced, and then it doesn't even fix the problem, they could have just let the dealer diagnose it and put new spark plug wires and plugs in for free per special policy. CarMD is the biggest automotive scam ever!

Mooseboy240 says:

the diagnostic portion of an engine control module (ecu) is a tool so a trained technician can have an idea of where to begin looking it can never tell you what is wrong and it's not magic. Like I said before its a tool and as with any tool if you don't know how its supposed to be used don't touch it because using a tool wrong is worse than not using it at all
